What needs a connection: Viewing previously uploaded photos, GPS check-in writes, report PDF generation, sending emails, and initial login all require network access. Once logged in and jobs are cached, the rest works offline.

Open Your Schedule
Start the day by opening Bug HQ from your home screen. Assigned jobs load with addresses, customer notes, service type, and any special instructions. Jobs cached while online are available even if signal drops on the drive out.
Complete the Job
Follow the guided checklist for WDO or pest inspections. Document findings, record chemicals, capture photos, and collect the customer's signature — all directly on your device. If signal drops mid-job, data queues locally and syncs automatically when you reconnect.
Submit and Move On
Mark the job complete. If online, data syncs immediately and the office sees the update in real time. If offline, the completion queues and syncs the moment signal returns — no manual resubmission required.

Yes. Each device maintains its own independent queue. Findings and photos are tied to specific job IDs, so parallel offline work on different jobs has no conflict. Important caveat: if two technicians edit the same inspection while offline, the last device to sync overwrites the earlier one — there is no merge or conflict detection. For shared jobs, coordinate before going offline.
Yes, with a caveat. New customer forms submitted offline are saved locally and sync automatically the next time the field home screen loads with connectivity. The customer record and linked inspection appear in the system once sync completes — but the tech cannot navigate to the new job record until after syncing.
